This project included the addition of a new ADU designed to be comfortable, functional, and flexible. A kitchenette was added with custom-built kitchen cabinets that provide plenty of storage. The layout was planned to keep the space open while still defining separate areas. A large studio space was created and visually separated from the kitchen using slat walls, adding privacy without closing off the room. The open studio allows for multiple uses, including living, sleeping, or work space.
A new bathroom was built with a walk-in shower and custom-built shower glass. A floating vanity was installed to keep the bathroom feeling open and modern. Finishes were selected to keep the space bright and easy to maintain. Lighting was placed to support both daily use and a comfortable atmosphere. The ADU was designed to feel efficient without feeling tight. The finished space works well as a rental unit, guest suite, or private living area.
